The Lodge at Turning Stone Resort Honored by Condé Nast Johansens as the Best Countryside Hotel in All of the Americas
Turning Stone Resort Casino’s elegant all-suite hotel, The Lodge, has received the 2015 Award for Excellence from Condé Nast Johansens, the internationally respected travel reference guide.
Awards continue to roll in recognizing the elite accommodations available at The Lodge at Turning Stone Resort Casino. The breathtakingly beautiful hideaway has been honored by Condé Nast Johansens in its 2015 Awards for Excellence as the Best Countryside Hotel in North and South America.
“The upscale, all-suite Lodge at Turning Stone in upstate New York provides sophistication, comfort and intuitive, personalized service,” says the laudatory write-up accompanying the venue’s award listing. It describes the Great Room at The Lodge as the “ideal spot in which to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape before a gourmet dinner in the elegant, intimate Wildflowers Restaurant.” It also describes the “world-class spa pampering” at Ska:ná, which “practices time-honored American Indian healing principles combined with modern treatments.”
“It is a tremendous distinction to have The Lodge hailed among the premier venues in the world of luxury by Condé Nast Johansens,” said Oneida Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter. “At Turning Stone, our goal every day is to make each guest’s experience outstanding, so we are extremely pleased and honored to have the serene and elegant accommodations of The Lodge recognized among the best accommodations in all of the Americas.”
This is not the first time The Lodge has been recognized by Condé Nast Johansens. The leading reference guide for travelers produced by the publishers of Vogue, GQ, Traveller and Glamour, Condé Nast Johansens named Turning Stone Resort the “Most Excellent Golf Resort” in 2010 and a finalist for its Awards for Excellence in 2014.
In May, The Lodge was also presented with the coveted AAA Four Diamond Award for the tenth consecutive year. The Tower at Turning Stone and Wildflowers restaurant also earned the exclusive honor, granted to less than six percent of AAA approved hotels and less than three percent of its restaurants. Turning Stone is the only resort in New York State with three AAA Four Diamond venues at one property.
A premier, four-season destination resort, Turning Stone hosts more than 4.5 million guests a year at its sprawling 3,400 acre facility, which offers world-class gaming, golf, upscale dining and vast recreation options, including “Exit 33,” a $25 million multi-venue entertainment complex.
