Turning Stone to Offer Central New Yorkers an Opportunity to Toast Golf Legend with Complimentary Arnold Palmers on Tuesday, October 4
On the day of his memorial service, Turning Stone invites guests to honor Arnold Palmer by enjoying his favorite beverage of iced tea and lemonade
Paying tribute to the one of the most respected and highly-regarded players in golf on the day of his memorial service, Turning Stone is offering guests complimentary Arnold Palmers, a drink made by mixing three parts unsweetened iced tea with one part lemonade, on Tuesday, October 4. Guests are invited to enjoy the complimentary Arnold Palmers all day at both the Atunyote Clubhouse and Shenendoah Clubhouse, where photos of Palmer during his visit to Turning Stone will be displayed.
Palmer last visited Turning Stone Resort in September 2005 to play in the Turning Stone Invitational at Atunyote Golf Course. Palmer played alongside PGA TOUR professional John Daly and LPGA Tour professional Natalie Gulbis.
In a career that spanned more than six decades, he won 62 PGA TOUR titles from 1955 to 1973, placing him fifth on the TOUR’s all-time victory list. He collected seven major titles in a six-plus-year explosion, from the 1958 Masters to the 1964 Masters. He also won the PGA TOUR Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998, and in 1974 was one of the 13 original inductees into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
