Turning Stone Honored Among Best Golf Resorts in the Northeast by Golf DigestÂ’s EditorsÂ’ Choice Award

This is the second consecutive year that the Upstate New York resort has earned the coveted Editors’ Choice Award from the leading golf publication. Turning Stone’s courses will open for the season beginning this week and will also be featured on The Golf Channel on April 30.

Turning Stone Resort Casino has once again been honored with Golf Digest’s Editors’ Choice Award for one of the Best Golf Resorts in the Americas in the Northeast. Boasting three championship-level 18-hole courses, two nine-hole courses and expansive indoor golf facilities, Turning Stone also received this elite award last year and was previously recognized with the Editors’ Choice Award for the magazine’s Best Travel for 2017 list.

The most widely read golf publication in the world with nearly seven million monthly readers, Golf Digest is a renowned authority whose rankings serve as a guide to the best courses, resorts and destinations nationwide and globally. Turning Stone will be featured in the magazine’s upcoming May issue, along with other 2019 award winners.

Today’s exciting news comes just ahead of the launch of the 2019 golf season at Turning Stone. Sandstone Hollow and Pleasant Knolls are scheduled to open this Friday, April 12, followed by Shenendoah and Kaluhyat next Friday, April 19, and Atunyote on Friday, April 26 (weather permitting).

In addition to its award-winning courses, Turning Stone provides the best indoor facilities in Upstate New York for golfers to continue working on their game during the winter. The resort’s impressive Golf Dome features 40 driving range hitting stations arranged in a double-level structure, a 17,000-square-foot short game area, a state-of-the-art simulator, a TaylorMade Tuned Performance Center and an expansive Golf Superstore with all of the latest products.

Turning Stone’s award-winning courses, indoor golf facilities and countless off-course amenities will also be featured with a 30-minute special of Golf Advisor Round Trip with Matt Ginella, premiering on The Golf Channel on Tuesday, April 30.
