After years of anticipation, Oneida Nation Enterprises has partnered with Caesars Sportsbook to bring mobile sports betting to Upstate New York.

Guests were able to start placing wagers through the Caesars Sportsbook app earlier this month.

As a result of the partnership, mobile sports bets made through the app will be directly reinvested into Central New York, according to Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO. 

“We are proud to partner with one of the biggest names in gaming to bring New Yorkers even more options to participate in sports betting,” Mr. Halbritter said. “We see this as a way to round out our sports betting experiences, whether guests wish to bet in-person at one of our three sportsbooks, or now, through the convenience of their mobile devices.” 

Our partners at Caesars were just as excited about the latest development.

Eric Hession, co-president of Caesars Digital, said the new betting options would only enhance the guest experience for guests who already have established relationships with the Caesars-branded sports books at Turning Stone, YBR Casino & Sports Book, and Point Place Casino.

“We’re extremely proud of our longstanding partnership with the Oneida Indian Nation and its legacy in the Empire State speaks for itself,” he said in a statement. “Turning Stone, [YBR] and Point Place Casino are all top New York gaming destinations, and The Lounge with Caesars Sports has quickly become a fan favorite for sports bettors in the area.” 

There certainly are benefits for guests to consider wagering online.

Those who download the app and register for the first time receive $300 in bonus cash. For the next few weeks, Caesars Sportsbook is also matching all initial deposits up to $3,000. To put that differently, if you sign up and deposit $3,000, your account will indicate you have $6,300 with which to wager.

Beyond these promos, guests can earn reward points on all mobile sports wagers through the Caesars Sportsbook app, along with bets placed in-person at The Lounge with Caesars Sports. 

Additionally, Oneida Nation Enterprises’ players can exchange and redeem their TS Rewards loyalty points and get player tier levels matched for Total Rewards Points at all Caesars properties. A reciprocal exchange is available for Caesars players at Oneida Nation Enterprises properties. 

Here at Turning Stone, Director of Sports Book Operations Justin Arnett said he is looking forward to welcoming new guests into the sports betting family.
