Turning Stone and Caesars = The Dream Team
The Oneida Nation Enterprises has partnered with some big gaming and hospitality companies over the years. One of our recent partnerships, a multifaceted arrangement with Caesars Entertainment, may be the biggest and boldest one yet.
The partnership incorporates poker and sports betting–both in person and via mobile–and extends into reciprocal loyalty rewards programs.
To this point, the sports book deal has grabbed the greatest number of headlines of late, thanks in part to mobile betting. Guests are now able to place wagers through the Caesars Sportsbook app anywhere in New York State, and sports books at Turning Stone, YBR Casino & Sports Book, and Point Place Casino are branded “The Lounge with Caesars Sports.”
A Caesars Entertainment spokesperson said, “The Oneida Indian Nation has already established Turning Stone as the preeminent New York gaming destination, which makes the property and its sister casinos fitting partners for Caesars. When it comes to partnerships, Caesars seeks collaborators who share our commitment to exceeding guest expectations.”
As Turning Stone gears up for some exciting poker festivities, the gaze now turns to poker. Because Caesars Entertainment owns and sponsors the World Series of Poker, the marketing deal also helped pave the way for ONE to bring WSOP Circuit and Satellite events to Turning Stone for the first time ever this year.
This development seems fitting, considering that Turning Stone has the largest and longest-running poker room in the state of New York.
It also makes sense since the WSOP is one of the most highly regarded brands in all of poker.
Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter said Turning Stone’s new relationship with WSOP is a great honor.
“We are proud of the fact that we are considered New York’s best poker destination. Being a satellite host for the WSOP promises to only build onto that reputation.”
(For the record, however, those players who win seats from us to play in the 2022 WSOP Main Event also get $3,000 in travel money as part of their gift packages.)
In addition to sports betting and poker, our partnership with Caesars extends to a truly unique rewards program for guests. Our TS Rewards is linked to Caesars’ Total Rewards so guests can transfer their points to use at properties owned by and Caesars Entertainment. This could come in handy for Turning Stone poker players who win seats to the World Series of Poker Tournament in Las Vegas and need accommodations or food-and-beverage credits while there.
