The Cove at Sylvan Beach, the Oneida Nation Enterprises’s newest resort, recently celebrated its grand opening and now offers luxurious, family-friendly accommodations on the shores of New York State’s largest lake - Oneida Lake.

The new property features 70 modern and beautifully appointed two- and three-bedroom cottages, each inclusive of its own pontoon boat. The vacation destination is dog-friendly and designed for weeklong summer getaways.

The resort’s flagship store and café, Sylvan Beach Supply Co., offers lake activity rentals, including motorized boats, canoes, water bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, fishing gear, and more. The café menu is packed with sandwiches, quick bites, and a variety of Instagrammable ice cream sundaes and milkshakes.

Sylvan Beach Supply Co. is also home to one of the largest candy walls in Upstate New York with a literal ton (2,000 pounds) of candy in 80 different varieties.

The expansive patio at the Supply Co., offers a great backdrop for a picnic lunch or dinner.

During a grand opening ceremony in late June, Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO, said The Cove will extend and amplify the service and commitment to excellence guests have come to expect at Turning Stone Resort Casino and its affiliated properties.

“We are excited for guests to experience The Cove at Sylvan Beach, where they can expect a beautiful brand-new property, perfectly located on Oneida Lake with great guest service, amenities and convenient access to several other places to visit in the region,” Mr. Halbritter said. “Starting with The Lake House and now The Cove, we have been deliberate with our investments in Sylvan Beach and its transformation into one of Upstate New York's leading summer vacation hotspots.”

Guests of The Cove will enjoy ample amenities—in addition to exclusive use of a pontoon boat for the duration of each stay, all cottages include a dedicated boat slip, a fire pit, a gas grill, a full-sized kitchen, and access to a guests-only recreation area that includes a pool (see story below).
