Mediterranean Station Debuts at 7 Kitchens Buffet
Turning Stone Resort Casino has added favorite flavors of the Mediterranean to its popular 7 Kitchens buffet with a new station that specializes in falafel, gyro, shawarma, hummus, and kebobs
Tastes of the Mediterranean have arrived in Central New York, as Turning Stone Resort Casino recently unveiled a brand-new station at 7 Kitchens buffet: A station that specializes in Greek food and flavors of the surrounding area.
The station, titled Mediterranean Dreams, is the buffet’s latest foray into food from around the world.
Highlights from the new menu include lamb and beef gyro, beef shawarma, chicken souvlaki, falafel, yellow basmati rice, fried pita chips, and hummus. The station also will have olives, feta cheese, cucumber salad, tzatziki sauce, tomato, red onion, and shredded lettuce for guests to embellish or garnish their food.
Guests can even combine items to create their own version of a Greek salad. The chicken souvlaki—served on skewers—are perfect toppers for such a dish.
Chef Kevin Giunta said the station represents Turning Stone’s commitment to creating a diversity of options at 7 Kitchens.
“Everybody loves falafel, hummus, gyros and other Mediterranean dishes,” Chef Kevin said. “We pride ourselves on offering a huge number of choices at 7 Kitchens, and this new station definitely adds a different kind of cuisine to the mix.”
As Chef Kevin suggested, the new Mediterranean Dreams station joins several other 7 Kitchens stations that celebrate other types of international food. The Culinary Tour of Italy station highlights delicious Italian food, while the Flavors of Asia station focuses on beloved items from China, Thailand, Japan, and Vietnam.
