Another year, another treasure trove of “Best of Gaming” awards for Turning Stone Resort Casino from Casino Player Magazine.

Turning Stone won 14 first-place “Best of Gaming” awards and a whopping total of 24 awards from the gaming industry magazine overall. The accolades include the highest honor of being named the No. 1 Best Overall Gaming Resort in New York for the sixth consecutive year, as well as the most “Best of Gaming” awards in 2021 for any casino in New York State.

“When it comes to progress, it is our belief that if we are not continuing forward, we are moving backwards,” said Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter. “Instead of remaining stagnant or allowing the challenges of the past year and a half to overcome us, we have made it our priority to improve through extensive investments and a commitment to continued excellence. These awards are a reflection of that commitment.”

We also received first-place accolades for best suite, best pool, best sports book promotions, best blackjack, and best video poker. Additionally, Turning Stone earned plaudits for our craps, prop bets, hotel lobby, and more.

These most recent Casino Player distinctions come after Turning Stone has been honored by several well-regarded publications. Earlier this year, Turning Stone was recognized by the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide with four esteemed Forbes Four-Star Awards. We also were named by Golf Digest as one of the Best Golf Resorts in the Americas, and Golf Advisor named all three of Turning Stone’s 18-hole courses as the Top 3 Courses in New York.

On a broader scale, we recently earned accolades from AAA with three Four Diamond Awards—kudos that consider the entire hospitality experience. We are proud of all these accolades and will keep pushing forward for more in the months and years ahead.
