Less is More in the New Showroom
Music fans can’t wait for the new-and-improved Showroom at Turning Stone Resort Casino to open its doors later this year. When the venue does open, it will be slightly smaller than it was before its recent renovation.
You read that right—we’ve invested time and energy to make the Showroom smaller and more intimate than ever before.
The new Showroom will have 650 premium seats. Previously, it had 715.
Of course, the new seats will be arranged differently. While the old Showroom had cabaret-style seating, we’ve been working diligently these last few months to create stadium-style tiers in the Showroom so that nobody has an obstructed view. The resulting guest experience will be a significant upgrade, enabling audience members to feel like they are part of the action.
Turning Stone has improved other aspects of the Showroom, as well. Additional features of the new facility will include a state-of-the-art sound system that will provide perfect acoustics and new contemporary design featuring dark woods and shades of deep purples and violets.
We also have put in a full-service bar in a new atrium; big news since the Showroom didn’t have a bar before.
Some might see our renovation as an exercise in minimalism—with seating, at least, we certainly are embracing the concept of “less is more.” Overall, however, we prefer to see the approach as another step on our inexorable quest to deliver the absolute best to you, our guests.
Entertainment is scheduled to resume in the Showroom later this summer, with Hardy set to perform September 3 and Queensryche September 4. We also recently announced An Evening with Straight No Chaser September 11 and George Thorogood & the Destroyers September 26. Tickets for all shows are available at the Turning Stone box office now.
