Exit 33 Nightlife Returns
Get your party clothes ready: A trio of venues in Turning Stone Resort Casino’s Exit 33 entertainment complex is gearing up to reopen for business.
The Gig, Tin Rooster, and the Atrium Bar are set to reopen on Friday, Dec. 10. Reopening weekend, just a few weeks ahead of Turning Stone’s New Year’s Eve celebration, will showcase the return of live performances at Upstate New York’s award-winning entertainment destination.
The milestone is an exciting moment for sure. Guests have been eagerly anticipating the return of Turning Stone’s late-night scene, and Nightlife and Beverage Director Tim Trendell said he can’t wait to see three of the resort’s most popular venues thriving and thumping like they were in the early part of 2020.
“When Exit 33 is open, the entire casino has a different kind of energy,” Tim said. “It’s going to be really special to walk around and feel that excitement again.”
Reopening weekend of Tin Rooster, The Gig and the Atrium Bar will feature live performances from some of the most popular bands in the region, including The Beadle Brothers, Gridley Paige, Scars N’ Stripes and Tom Nitti.
Guests visiting Exit 33 venues will be required to provide proof of vaccination.
Turning Stone Resort Casino has been gearing up to reopen Exit 33 for months. Back in August, we held “open auditions” to find energetic people with outgoing personalities to join the nightlife team. Available positions included bartenders, hostesses/cashiers, cocktail servers, barbacks, and beverage porters.
New nightlife employees also were eligible for a first-of-its-kind hiring incentive: An opportunity to swing an exciting trip for two to Caesars Palace Las Vegas, a partner of ours.
As Tim sees it, the move to reopen Exit 33 is another step on the return route to normalcy.
“It’s been a long time since our Exit 33 venues have really been cranking,” he said. “I can’t wait for guests to come to the resort, head to the clubs, get ready to party and remember what makes Exit 33 so special.”
