The 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships are coming to the Mary C. Winder Community Center!

Every four years, this prestigious event showcases the top box lacrosse teams competing for a world championship title. This year is the first to feature a women’s box championship.

Plan Your Event Experience

Here’s everything you need to know so on game day you are in your seat and ready to cheer when it’s time for the face-off.

Parking & Shuttles

Offsite complimentary parking is available, with location depending on which game(s) you are attending. Take Exit 33 off of I-90 and follow the special event parking signs.

  • 9:30am & 4:30pm Games: Follow the RED signs to park at the large parking lot behind Maple Leaf Market at the corner of Routes 31 and 365. Get directions.
  • 1:00pm & 8:00pm Games: Follow the GREEN signs to park at Turning Stone Resort Casino. Get directions.

Attending more than one event? Park in the designated lot for the first game you attend. There’s no need to move your car. If you decide to leave and return later in the day, please park in the designated lot for the game you’re attending at that time.

Please plan to arrive at least two hours before the game(s) you selected to accommodate for the shuttle ride, ticket scanning and security checks.

Plus, you’ll want to enjoy the game day festivities with food trucks and concessions, live entertainment and fan zone!

Shuttles to and from the Mary C. Winder Community Center will begin at 8:15am and run approximately every 15 minutes throughout the day. The last shuttle of the day will be one hour after the final game. Space on shuttles is subject to availability.

Accessible Seating & Parking

To better accommodate your needs, accessible seating can be purchased at The Box Office. Please contact a representative at 877.833.7469 so we can help plan your visit. Designated spaces will be available for guests with accessible tickets at the Mary C. Winder Community Center, 1 Windfall Way, Oneida, NY 13421.

Concessions

A variety of food trucks and concessions will be available throughout the day. Please note this is an alcohol-free event.

General Rules

To provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests, please be advised that the following are prohibited:

  • Alcohol
  • Smoking, vapes, or e-cigarettes
  • Illegal drugs
  • Coolers
  • Laser pointers
  • iPads or tablets
  • Professional cameras
  • Audio or video recording
  • Flash photography
  • Weapons or objects that appear to be weapons
  • Outside food or beverages (only items purchased within the entertainment venue are permitted)
  • Unapproved pamphlets/handouts
  • Balloons
  • Backpacks
  • Seat savers or stadium seat cushions
  • Other items deemed inappropriate by Mary C. Winder Community Center Management

Policies

Bag Searches

Mary C. Winder Community Center asks all guests to arrive with enough time to go through bag check lines prior to the start of the event. All guests are subject to search and metal detector screening. We ask that you travel light in order to expedite the entry process. Bags should be no larger than 12”x14” and anything larger is prohibited including backpacks.

Cameras

No professional recording equipment will be allowed inside Mary C. Winder Community Center at any time. In addition, flash photography is prohibited from certain events, including all sporting events.

Children

Children are permitted for Mary C. Winder Community Center events. The price of the child’s ticket is the same as an adult ticket.

Entry/Exit

Once guests leave the festival grounds, they will not be permitted re-entry without a ticket for an upcoming game.

Fan Etiquette

The Mary C. Winder Community Center staff reserves the right to remove any fan or guest who is deemed inappropriate due to behavior impacting other guests, their own safety or the safety of the athletes.

Food & Beverage

Outside food and beverages, including water, are not permitted beyond the festival entrance.

Signs & Banners

As long as they are not offensive and do not obstruct the view of others, signs and banners are typically allowed into Mary C. Winder Community Center. Signs may not be mounted on a stick or pole.

Smoking

There is no smoking permitted anywhere inside Mary C. Winder Community Center. There is no re-entry during events. There will be a designated outdoor smoking area.

Whistle Policy

As a courtesy to others, we ask that you refrain from movement in the arena while the game is in play. Guests are not permitted to bring in their own whistles.
